Julita Tian has developed a focused practice in foreign-related legal services, advising on international trade and investment, international engineering, corporate compliance, civil and commercial dispute resolution, private wealth succession planning, and legal issues relating to the low-altitude economy and general aviation.
In addition to her law practice, she serves as a mediator with the Sichuan Mediation Centre of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area International Maritime and Commercial Mediation Center, the Sichuan Civil, Commercial and Trade Mediation Center, the Beihai International Arbitration Court, the Sichuan Jinsha Commercial Mediation Center, and the Sichuan Guanghua Civil and Commercial Mediation Center, providing integrated support across negotiation, dispute prevention, and dispute resolution.

- Advised on the Malaysia communications enhancement EPC and cross-border investment project of Sihan Technology, which received the 2023 Top 10 Foreign-related Legal Service Cases Award of the Sichuan legal profession
- Represented Chengdu-based cultural media company in commercial negotiations with AI Jaber Group’s Qatar counterparty
- Advised a Chengdu technology company on legal compliance framework building for the overseas launch of a game emulator business
- Advised a Sichuan new media company on the establishment of an international commercial compliance structure during its early-stage growth
- Advised a well-known Sichuan tea beverage brand on its overseas expansion project
- Advised on an equity acquisition project involving an African grain group and a Tianjin grain and oil enterprise
- Advised a large state-owned enterprise in Tianjin on the acquisition of a gold mine project in Tanzania

- Advised a Sichuan provincial state-owned enterprise on compliance system construction and ISO 37301 certification, with the project awarded first prize among the group’s inaugural compliance projects
- Provided repeated specialised legal advice on international trade compliance for civil aviation materials procurement, including optimisation of supply-chain management processes, with single procurement transactions exceeding RMB 50 million
- Advised a leading Chinese university on the joint application with a U.S. university for a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution
- Advised a Sichuan group company on equity structure optimisation and balance-sheet adjustment

- Represented a UAE company in an international trade contract dispute against a Lianyungang company
- Represented a Belarus company in an international sale of goods dispute against a Jinan company
- Regularly advises on dispute prevention and dispute handling in relation to cross-border cooperation, international sale of goods, international engineering performance and foreign investment projects
Publications and Industry Contributions
- Participated in the drafting of the Guide to Legal Services for Outbound Investment Projects led by the International Investment and Trade Committee of the Sichuan Lawyers Association in 2023, covering PRC counsel engagement, the role of PRC counsel in outbound investment projects, international engineering contracts, financing structures, financing agreements, and negotiation and finalisation of transactional documents
- Led the drafting work for the Guide to Legal Services for Cross-border E-commerce led by the same committee in 2024
- Participated in the drafting of the Foreign-related Legal Service Capability Model and the Technical Specification for Dynamic Safety Assessment of Low-altitude Air Route Operations in 2025
